The Traders Register provides older people in the area with one contact point, which will put them in touch with local tradespeople who can be trusted to carry out work in the older persons home. The traders on the Register have been vetted by Age Concern Bradford & District and with Trading Standards, they must disclose any criminal convictions and supply checkable references. The traders must also work to a code of conduct and work undertaken is regularly monitored to ensure reliability.
